A doctor who listens first
Dr Shilpa Chegu is a female GP with a special interest in women's health, practising across two clinics in Melbourne's Yarra Valley region. She brings dual fellowship — MRCGP (UK) and FRACGP — along with a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, giving her a broad and internationally informed perspective on women's wellbeing.
Dr Chegu consults at Mooroolbark Medical Centre and Kaizen Clinic in Seville, offering a comprehensive range of in-clinic procedures including Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena and copper IUD insertion and removal, and medical termination of pregnancy. She also provides personalised assessment and management of PMOS and endometriosis, pregnancy and antenatal care (including shared care with Eastern Health), perimenopause and menopause, medically assisted weight loss, and chronic disease.
Her approach is straightforward: she listens carefully, explains clearly, and works with each patient to achieve health outcomes that suit their life. Every consultation is a conversation — never a rushed decision.
